This map shows wetlands (blue) as determined by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service National Wetlands Inventory. The required 25 foot buffer from the edge of the wetland is shown in red.
This map shows LiDAR elevation data with trees and structures removed to reveal the ground topography. For reference, the drainage swales along Placida Road are shown. The swales are often filled with water for extended periods of time (sometimes with standing water on the road). The connected wetlands overlapped by the proposed development are at lower elevation.
